Can my child’s conversations at home on the phone or computer with friends lead to discipline at school?

These days just about everything a child does online can be monitored or can turn up somewhere else. If a child is engaged in criminal activity, if they’re bullying, even if they’re just communicating with someone who is involved in these things, that child’s information can be used by the school for punishment. It’s important that you monitor what your child does online because it can have ramifications on their education.
