Recently CPLS P.A. was proud to support The Mustard Seed of Central Florida at their “Raise the Table” event in Orlando. The Mustard Seed of Central Florida hosted this event to raise funding for their cause through donations and a silent auction. Orlando Family Law Attorney, Aubrey H. Ducker, sits on the board of directors and was proud to show up in support of one of Orlando’s biggest, communal, assets.
“The Mustard Seed collects donations of furniture, appliances, household items, linens and dishes, as well as anything that could make a house a home. We grant the donated items to pre-qualified families and individuals to help them re-establish a home.” – The Mustard Seed of Central Florida
The Mustard Seed Of Central Florida
The Mustard Seed of Central Florida is the only furniture bank in the area. They provide household goods and clothing to families and persons who’re experiencing a personal tragedy or battling homelessness, abuse, illness, or unemployment.
The focus of the Raise The table event was to raise critical funding for persons or families who’ve lost everything. This includes natural disasters and personal tragedies. Unfortunately, we’ve all seen an abundance of these issues in the last few years. These fundraising events are dire. With 33 years of service to our local community, The Mustard Seed of Central Florida estimates that it costs $500 to supply a family with full furnishings for their home.
In appreciation for all the local support, they issued the following statement via a post through their website. “We’d like to thank our event sponsors, in-kind sponsors, silent auction donors, Mustard Seed Board of Directors, attendees and volunteers for making our Raise the Table fundraiser a successful event! Thank you for believing in and supporting our mission!”
